Husband and wife team Marlene and Wayne Webb started Millie Millie Embroidery and Printing as a home-based business back in 2005. After selling family the farm, Marlene wanted to get into something related to sewing and saw a niche market for embroidery services in Bordertown. Their first piece of embroidery equipment was a top-of-the-range industrial 15 thread embroidery machine. This machine could embroider logos and names onto various kinds of material and items, including towels, clothing, sports bags, corporate wear and caps etc.
Over the years, the business grew, and thanks to a great bunch of wonderful and loyal customers, new equipment was able to be purchased to expand the services that Millie Millie Embroidery and Printing offered. This equipment includes a new 4-head industrial embroidery machine, a heat pressing machine and textile printing equipment. The heat pressing and printing equipment has allowed the business to offer printing services, which can print logos, names and even photos on a range of items including t-shirts, polo shirts, mugs and stubbie holders. Their latest purchase is a mug printer, which can print logos and quotes onto coffee and tea mugs.
In 2015, Marlene and Wayne purchased and moved into a new premise, near the main street of Bordertown, to allow the business to have more room to expand and have a nice professional location where customers can drop by and have a cup of tea or coffee to discuss their embroidery or printing requirements. In the near-future, Marlene and Wayne hope to offer even more services to their customers such as canvas printing for framing of photos, as well as any other kind of printing or embroidery service that their customers may needing.
